• What matters for calculations is the total surface area of windows and doors
• The orientation relative to cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) is crucial for solar gain calculations

The model helps visualize wall orientation, building shape, and relative proportions. All thermal calculations are based on the surface areas you add via the interactive model.

This feature allows you to quickly save or share all your current input settings as a single code.

• To save your configuration, click "Generate Configuration Code" at the bottom of the page and copy the code.
• To restore or import a configuration, paste the code here and click "Apply".

You can use this to transfer settings between browsers, share with colleagues, or keep a record of your calculation setup.
